Holiday '24

For a company that sells iconic motorcycles in addition to robust apparel and licensing and parts and accessories across multiple geos from ecom to dealerships, the Holiday campaign needs to work very hard. It’s an opportunity to feature hundreds of products of varying types, but more importantly, an opportunity for the brand to reinforce it’s relevance. For this campaign, targeted toward the Harley “Core” audience, we decided to pay homage to our dealers by featuring them as talent. We built scenarios and product stories around three people from our dealerships, delivering strongly on authenticity. Thank you Brian, Brandi, and Josh!

Harley-Davidson Homecoming '25

For Harley-Davidson’s 2025 Homecoming festival, we collaborated with artist Florian Schommer to create a high-energy, country-rock-centric gig poster. The poster design was deconstructed into a kit of visual elements to be extended across the breadth of the campaign including the paid and organic, environmental signage and other promos. High quality screen-printed posters will be created to be sold at the event.

H-D Factory Custom Paint

This campaign was developed as part of a larger initiative to help drive greater product awareness for the brand. Harley-Davidson’s Factory Custom is the most premium production-model paint available, inspired by the rich culture of custom paint, (typically bought by owners after purchase). We interviewed our VP of Design, Brad Richards, and combined his story with rich visuals to show the distinct beauty of this product and drive viewers into the showroom to experience it for themselves. The campaign consisted of a 2-minute video, two :30s, web page, and channel assets.

Harley-Davidson Smart Vest

Airbags save lives. To launch Harley-Davidson’s Smart Vest, we aimed to demonstrate the safety technology within stylish Harley apparel. We combined informative technical copy and CGI product renders with on-figure photography. These assets were used for multi-channel campaign including a motion piece.

Harley-Davidson Oil Packaging

Harley-Davidson’s packaging was due for an update. This design was the first step in developing a new system for the brand and established conventions to be extended to the product architecture. We elevated the SYN3 performance product while simultaneously promoting H-D’s new racing program, King of the Baggers, through POP items. The oil bottles also featured QR codes linking back to how-to oil change videos.

Harley-Davidson Homecoming '24

Harley-Davidson’s Homecoming is a big ol’ party where music and motorcycles are the stars. We commissioned original gig poster art from DKNG, which served not only as beautifully screen printed art poster memorabilia, but also as the foundation for the campaign visual center. The peace sign hand and particular motorcycle (‘71 Superglide) are honorary references to 93-year-old Willie G. Davidson, influential designer, and grandson of one of the original company founders. We produced the campaign guidelines and oversaw the design of the multitude of campaign assets including the microsite and ticket sales site.

In addition the the campaign, we created an exhibition in honor of motorcycle design legend, Willie G. Davidson. The exhibition was designed for quick install and strike, and maximum impact with a tiny budget. We incorporated a soundtrack with music an audio from Wille G., as well as a petro-fuel inspired fragrance to add to the ambience.

On The Roam Packaging

The packaging design for Harley-Davidson’s collaboration with Jason Momoa’s On The Roam was designed to be an extension of the apparel DNA—worn and weathered to a rich patina. We broke new ground in sustainability by pushing for the most eco-friendly options on the market. Re-usable cloth duster bags were created to be “keepers”.

This was a premium limited edition replica of Harley's 1940's original biker jacket. The project was created by Jason Momoa's On The Roam in collaboration with The Real McCoy's and Harley-Davidson. 30 jackets were hand crafted by RMC in Japan, and quickly sold out.

Harley-Davidson H-D X

The 350 and 500 H-D X models were created by Harley-Davidson to serve Asia Pacific and Riding Academy markets in need of smaller displacement, more affordable bikes. These motorcycles take design cues from iconic bikes from the past, including the XR 750. For Asia Pacific, the photo art direction shows off design details and expresses their sporty attitude. For Riding Academy, specific beginner ease of use and safety features are highlighted.

H-D Co-Working Environmental Graphics

As the working landscape of Harley-Davidson re-formed following the Covid remote work exodus from their historic headquarters building in Milwaukee, our group was brought on to bring some brand storytelling to the new co-working space. We leveraged our core brand mission and ethos of our legendary muse, Willie G. Davidson. While referencing the past, we leaned into the timeless strength of these ideas with a contemporary and forward-looking visual expression, using current model-year photography, hand-painted murals, and photo-journalistic photography of some our die-hard brand enthusiasts.

Skyline OS

From time to time, I stretch into copywriting and naming work. Harley needed a name for the infotainment and navigation system on our new product platform. I came up with the name Skyline OS, playing on the idea of the horizon that beckons the rider, freedom from the hard wired land line, and the crucial communication lines that we rely on when we travel.
